Terminal Session under Windows 2000 to connect to Netra 105...

Your insight would be greatly appreciated.

Okay, I purchased Procomm Plus V4.8 for Windows 2000, to allow me to use a certified (it definitely works) CISCO DB9 to RJ45 cable for serial connection to a Netra 105 to Serial LOM A port. The same cable and adapter worked for a SE at previous client site.

Hyperterminal would not work under Windows 2000 Professional, SP 2, thus I purchased a certified emulation package for use on my WIN2000 laptop.

I cannot get a LOM session to under my WIN2000 laptop. The software is set to 9600/N/1/8 and VT100 emulation.

I have rebooted the Netra and laptop many times, no response.

Has anyone been able to get a VT100 session to work under WIN2000 as a connection to LOM A Serial Port?

What I am doing wrong, or what should I try next.
