Terabytes of data movement between old db setup to new db setup

1292124Jul 10 2015 — edited Aug 26 2015

Hi All,

I have a database, SAN storage in place (10g)

I want to have a setup of 12c + SAN

My plan is to

Bring up the 12c setup

Then move data from 10g setup to 12c setup

De-commission the 10g setup

and start using the 12c setup

The data to be moved is of size 50 Tera Bytes

I am aware of transportable tablespace, and rman duplication.

Since it is 50 TB , and I dont want to use the old 10g setup, I am not going for transportable tablespace.

Does rman duplication supports 10g to 12c

Is there any other methodology available inside oracle.

Does the migration workbench supports one oracle version to another.

Thanks in advance.
