Oracle Database Discussions

Hello,

I previously created a new database template based on an existing database. I later deleted this template i created. Now when i attempt to create a new database with the DBCA using ANY template, i.e. General Purpose etc, i receive a DBCA screen that was not displayed before.

The screen is labelled; Template Datafile Location

It gives the following message:

The template datafile “{ORACLE_HOME}\assistants\dbca\templates\Data_Warehouse.dfj” specified in the template doesn’t exist. Specify new location of the template datafile:

I looked in the registry and made sure the parameter for {ORACLE_HOME} is the same as the location of the 'assistants' folder.

The template files currently in the “{ORACLE_HOME}\assistants\dbca\templates\ location are;

Data_Warehouse.dbc
General_Purpose.dbc
New_Database.dbt
Transaction_Processing.dbc
Transaction_Processing.dfj

Any useful advice would be appreciated. Thank you
