tar command not working

Hi All,

I am trying to take a tar backup of Oracle home. But tar command is not working. I am getting the output like below.

$ tar -cvf /u05/psu/11.2.0.2.tar 11.2.0

tar:

Tried using mknod also, but still the same issue. Any suggestions?

DB version:11.2.0.2

OS version:AIX 6.1
