Tablespace Quota Issues

I am having trouble creating new tables in my XE schema...the database give me the error that the user tablespace quota has been reached, even though the UI reports only 15% of the space quota used. The User tablespace is 300MB (of which only 3MB is used), System, Undo and Temp take maybe another 600MB. Why am I getting this error?
