tablespace nologging

Could somebody please explain me what happens when I create a tablespace in nologging mode?

Will it make tablespace creation faster becaues it does not logging?

Will all the tables ( segments) created in that tablespace will not be logged by default?

The database I am interested is in Oralce 10g 10.2.0.4.
