Tablespace corrupt

Guys,

On one of my live database (in archive log mode) a tablespace has been corrupted, I am not even able to take it offline. I am getting an ORA-01110 error.

Apart from restoring it from the backup is there any option. Also how do I restore DB which is archive log mode.
