Tablespace autoextend threshold modify?

if i am not wrong on 99% full, autoextend option the extending the tablespace size. Will it possible, change the tablespace threshol d somewhere 80% and get the automatically extended the tablespace on given threshold, instead of 99% full? So that we can avoid the monitoring alerts
