Oracle Database Discussions

Hello,

We are having a tablespace called PSAPSR3. (In Tablespace Auto extend is Enabled & Datafile autoextend mode also ON)
There it having 9 Datafiles.
---- 5 DataFiles are filled. (Reached to Its maximum size)
Totally in this tablespace, now Its 98% Used. (Total Size is 89 GB and It already used 87 GB)

I Want to know... ;
Since the TableSpace is in Auto-extend mode , Will this add DataFile Automatically in the Tablespace?

If not, what is the purpose of marking Tablespace as AutoExtend ON.
