tables created with weird names

I ran some insert scripts in a 10g db but found that some tables were created with weird names like "BIN$XQ3e7x5TRg2GrMjwMEl80w==$0"
I could not even rename/delete these tables as it throws the error "ORA-27235: Message 27235 not found; product=RDBMS; facility=ORA"

Anyone encountered this prob before, pls help
