Table logging

Hi Gurus,

Whats the difference between the following values:

1 -- when I check the logging column in dba_tables, it says NO
2 -- when I check the force_logging column in v$database, it says YES

So, does it means that even if my tables have nologging option, db stills logs the data since force_logging is set to YES?

Any help from you guys would be really appreciated.
