Table has zero rows but still is 96 MB big

Hello Everyone,

I have a table in my database that has no rows but still is 96 MB in size when I query the dba_segments table.

There are other tables in the same database which have no rows and are 0 MB big.

This may be a very naive question but I have not been able to present a reasonable explanation to one of the managers.
