Table Filter for Wildcards

I have a number of application Audit tables in my database which have the same name as the data table with '_A' tacked on the end. I am trying to set the filter of tables in the connection dialogue to exclude these tables but I seem to be unable to do this because of the wildcard character '-'. Does anyone know how to do it?
