system tablespace is full!!!

Hi

I recently migrated my database from oracle8i to 10g. The system tablespace created is only 760MB with auto extend on. its almost full now and only 1% is remaining. I dont understand y its not autoextending. It has got only 1% free space available.

Let me know if any of u guys know abt this
