Sysdate save and display format in Discoverer report

I'm becoming confused by date formatting.
I am creating a Discoverer report that will create a CSV file to load into Oracle. I have a calc'd field called CreateDate that consist of this formula:
TO_DATE(SYSDATE,'DD-MON-YYYY')
In the column that displays CreateDate, I have set the date format to NONE, so that it uses the "actual" format.
(Oracle 9i / Discoverer 10g)
However, the date is displaying as: 08-MAR-07.
I'm concerned that the century is not displaying in this. How can I force it without having to rely on reporting formats, or do I not need to worry?
