Sysdate in Fast Formula

Hi ,

Iam trying to create an HCM extract which pulls all terminated records and my requirement is to mark the status as ACTIVE if the termination date is future date ,and INACTIVE if the termination date is past date.

To achieve this iam trying to compare the termination date with sysdate in a fast formula but unable to use SYDATE.

Can anyone please suggest any solution for this.
