sys/types.h missing (probably newbie install issue)

807578Aug 6 2002 — edited Aug 16 2002
Installed Solaris 8 for intel (three CD set), and WS62U (Forte_C++-WS6U2-FCS-soli386 & Forte_C-WS6U2-FCS-soli386) off the try-me download.

Failed miserably at compiling a simple utility.

Traced to missing virtually all the include files necessary (sys/types.h, for example, does not exist in either /usr/include, or in /opt/SUNWspro/WS6U2/include).

What package and/or Software Development Kit have I failed to install?
