Synonyms accessible from a different schema

Hi All,

OS: RHEL

DB:11gR2

I am facing a problem in which the public synonyms defined on the tables of schema A are being accessible by Schema B in the same database and also vice versa. We have recently upgraded our database from 11.2.0.3 to 11.2.0.4, I am not sure if this is the reason, please suggest.
