Synonym translation is no longer valid in a .NET application

I am getting this error when I try to validata sqls via "Explain plan for <SQL>" or execute using OracleConnection object in my .NET application. These SQLs are running just fine in TOAD or BENTHIC. I checked MSDN for resolution, but there was not even one question posted with this error. Has any ever seen this issue in .NET apps?
