Synchronization with DB

Hello,
how can I Synchronize changes between VO's, EO and database tables.
as you know when you start your project and during the development you need to add or delete some tables, columns.
so what can I do if I add one column to table and I need this column to reflect on af:table. hope you understand the point I need.
