Sync apparently succeeds, but no table content transferred

Hi Forum members,

I am new with Oracle and Oracle 10 (Lite). I encounter the following problem: I filled several tables in the Server database with data, whereafter I tried to Sync (after having published the application, using WTGPACK). The MGP seems to have processed all the records which are to be transferred to the client database (Ora 10g Lite), the OUT-queue contains no records (so this part of the behaviour seems OK because no records are pending). In WebToGo everything seems all right, and the mSync application also renders "success". But: no records are transferred, the client database does not even exist (I cannot access it, the conscli.odb is present but in the same directory there should be a <applname>.odb and an acl.odb and those are not present in that directory. These expectations are based on the Ora 9 situation, has there been a change in the output deployment scheme?).

I tried to find some usable information about "sync reguirements" (which would comprise: which settings and which content (for example: the content of the "source" .XML file which is used by WTGPACK) are important for WebToGo/SyncServer to really convey the server database contents to the Ora Lite client database?) but did not find very much about this issue. I would guess the effective failure is due to some mismatch or deficit in settings or expected contents, but maybe there are some other unsolved problems (. Either way, I don't know how to proceed further. Does this sound familiar and has somebody any idea to solve this (operational problem)?

Herman
