Can someone please help me out in what is the best practice for using SVN with sql developer and toad. Basically we have some folks that use sql developer and some that use TOAD. I set up a linux centos SVN server on our network. I'm having a difficult time determining how to best provide version control for users that use sql developer and for those that use TOAD. Do the developers need to upload all of their code to the SVN server and then check it out on their local machines? It just seems like there are so many solutions out there. I know TOAD has their own team coding which can be integrated with SVN and tortoisesvn, it's just all a bit confusing as to what option is the best.Any insight is much appreciated. Thank you.
