Supported Client Events for af:selectBooleanCheckbox

We are using 11g R2(11.1.2.4.0) and I need to use KeyUp/KeyDown event for boolean checkbox. But i do not seem to find it but the same is present in 12c documentaion. http://jdevadf.oracle.com/adf-richclient-demo/docs/tagdoc/af_selectBooleanCheckbox.html . Is there any patch available for 11gR2 to get the feature ?

If not is there a work around to handle use tabbing out of boolean check box?
