SunRise & SunSet

I am in the process of developing an application which will include the calculation of the SunRise and SunSet ie the user will select any city and the program will calculate the Sunrise and Sunset time for this City

I have a database which holds the names if the cities and the Longitude / Latitude and the time zone in reference to GMT for each city.

My question is : what other information or formula do I require in order to do the calculation ?

Or can anyone who has devlopped similar application please guide me
