SunRay2: Physical resolution is 1920x1080, desktop uses only 1280x1024

Hi,

i have an installation with some SunRay2 stations. I'm using Solaris 10 5/09 and SRSS 4.1 with the latest patch. I have a toshiba regza 52 inch television set connected via DVI/HDMI. With utresadm i set the SunRay to 1920x1080@60d, which is the native panel resolution. This part is working perfectly, the display is crisp, great.

My problem is that the solaris desktop uses only a center part of e.g. 1280x1024 pixels. Setting 1920x1080 with utsettings does simply nothing, the setting will not be saved.

utxconfig also does not set the resolution to 1920, it also does nothing without any error message.

Sometimes utxconfig sets the desktop to something larger than 1280x1024, but the visible part is still the same, the desktop scrolls if the mouse cursor reaches the border of the visible part.

I'm pretty sure i'm forgetting something. Please can anyone give me a tip?

Thank You very much.

Regards, Christof
