Hi All,

Just got a x4200 and the fans in this system (6 of them) run wide open all the time. Is there some way to regulate the speed, to a lower setting when the system is not hot; looked in the BIOS and didn't see anything?

The fan speed does seem to step down a little , but were talking from a 10.0 to 9.5. I question the need for the fans running full tilt like that, the system doesn't get that hot.

The system is located in a lab where a few people work, there is a Dell 2U server in the same rack that no one ever noticed running, but soon as the X4200 was turned on they started complaining about the noise; it's really loud.
