SunFire T1000 memory errors during upgrade

807557Sep 30 2009 — edited Sep 30 2009
Hello,

When I added new memory (in which both banks were fully populated ) I recieved the below error from the ALOM and the machine forces a power-down. I have added the same exact memory on another SunFire T1000 without any issues.

The interesting part about this is that when I put the original memory modules back in, it had similar complaints as the machine forces a power-down and will not power-on.

Has anyone witnessed this before? Any assistance on this topic would be greatly appreciated.
