Sun Ultra 24 BIOS problem

I have a Sun Ultra 24 that needed the BIOS updating to the latest version, I flashed the BIOS manually using the afuwin application (downloaded as part of the tools and drivers patch from Oracle) whilst running Windows Server 2008 (I think this may have been a bad idea!!!), the system now hangs at the Sun logo on startup with a BIOS POST code 38 from the port 80 LED, I have tried recovering the BIOS using Oracle Service Manual advice and all I get is a blank screen and a BIOS POST code E9 from the port 80 LED.

Am I missing something? Anybody else had this problem? What's my next step as I seem to be stuck.
