Sun One Studio Community 4 - file associations on XP

843804Aug 18 2004 — edited Aug 18 2004
I have installed J2SDK 1.4.1 and Sun One Studio Community Edition 4 on Windows XP professional. Everything works fine.

When I installed Sun One Studio, in the installation I answered the question to associate the .java file types with Sun One as yes.

But when I double click on a .java file nothing happens. I tried to reassociate the .java files with C:\program files\s1studio\cd\bin\runidew.exe going through the control panel folder options but it still does not work.

It would be nice to be able to double click on a .java file to open Sun One instead of having to open Sun One first and then open the file. Any ideas? Thanks, Dian
