Sun Microsystems - acquired by Oracle - Good or Bad ?

Hi all,
Pretty sad to see the news.
Will Java and related softwares be free, anymore?
Even if they are free, I dont see any advantage for developers, since Oracle would only be concentrating on product centric enhancements.
Please share your views.
