Hi,

Email messages sent from an external system "alert" email notification to Sun Messaging Server 6 Update 3 are appearing with a blank or empty email body. When the same system sends "alert" email notifications to an Exchange server, the email body includes the text.

I'm reading the Sun Messaging Server messages with a Thunderbird V2 (2.0.0.22) email IMAP client. This same client can read messages with text in the body from the same Sun Messaging Server account for email sent from a different external system. Outlook email client is used to read the messages on the Exchange server mentioned above.

I'm trying to find out the mail agent used on the external system (whose email messages are appearing without the text in the body on the Sun Messaging Server). The Sun Messaging Server and Sun Directory Server (6 Update 3) are installed on the same Solaris 10 system for this test case.

Have others experienced this behavior or might have suggestions?
