Sun Download Manager

Downloaded sdm1_1 for windows. Using the sdm I downloaded jdk1.5.0 beta 2. Then I installed the jdk. But now the sdm refuses to work. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling but the damn sdm still won't work. Please help as I need it to download J2EE.
