Sun Directory Server dse.ldif file configuration

We are running Sun Java Directory Server version 6.3.x and in our dse.ldif file we have some settings that are not listed in the Sun documentation. Does anyone know if these settings are just being ignored by the Directory Server or are they valid settings even though they do not exist in the documentation?
