SUID and/or SGID Requirement

I am running Oracle 9i on Solaris SPARC
I see numerous files (orapw<database name>, oradism, dbsnmp, etc) with either the SUID or SGID set..

Do all these files/directories reaally require the sticky bit set???

Is there a document which list Oracle files/directories that require SUID/SGID privileges??
