Suggestions to start learning Oracle forms and reports.

Erik_NLSep 5 2016 — edited Sep 12 2016

I've been working with Oracle databases (10g,11g and 12c), PL/SQL and Apex for around 10 years. In all those years I never encountered oracle Forms and reports, but now that I'm planning to start as a freelancer, I see that a lot of companies are still using it. For that reason I would like to invest some time to learn about these Oracle products.

Any suggestions for learning material to start with? Are there for example any books that you can recommend for starters? I'd especially like to get some hands on experience, so if there are any books avalable that do also include a working environment, that would be great. I've searched Amazon for suitable books, but I found a lot where very old (like from 2010, which sounds quite antique in the IT world).

I've also installed Oracle forms 12 already, but I'm not sure if the standallone installation will help me to get any proper hands-on experience.
