Sudo Permissions check failed for Oracle Home <OH> on host <xx>

Hello, community :-)

While attempting to apply a patchset (27734982 : DATABASE PATCH SET UPDATE 11.2.0.4.180717) on a 11.2.0.4.0 Oracle_home, AIX 6.1 Server (64 bits)  with Oracle Enterprise Manager Cloud Control 13c, the validation step fails with the message "sudo Permissions check failed for Oracle Home '<my Oracle Home>', on host '<My host>' " ;

Below are my pre-requisites :

- The Oracle Home user is "oracle" ;

- This user is part of the sudoers, and it has been tested succesfully on the host;

- The named credential NC_HOST_AIX seems to be set correctly, particularly regarding the attribute "UserName" (= "oracle"), the "Privilege Type" (= "SUDO")  and the attribute "Run As"  (= "oracle")

- The named credential NC_HOST_AIX has been succesfully tested ;

- In my Plan, in the Step 3 :  "Deployment Options",

  . Oracle Home Preferred Credentials => "Override" is selected,

  . Specify For => "All" is selected

  . Normal Credentials : "NC_HOST_AIX" is selected

  . Privileged Credentials : "NC_HOST_AIX" is selected : this field must be entered, althougt we have no Privileged Credentials created in Cloud Control - Perhaps that is the source of the issue ?

I worked before with Oracle Enterprise Manager 12c, and we didn't have to specify any Privileged Credentials...

Thanks for your reply

Kind regards,

Claude S., French DBA...
