Subversion for Oracle Forms

Hello!
Has anybody used subversion as versioning system for an Oracle Forms application?

I've stored some forms in my test-repository; everything works fine, but now I have to do some extra configuration scripts as most subversion clients (or hook scripts) suppose that the source files should be in text-format...as this is not the case in Oracle Forms, I'd have to do some extra work with jdapi for the hook script and some extra definitions with diff.

So: has this anybody here done before? Advices/Hints/etc.?
