Subversion and Third-Party Software

I am using Subversion 1.7 and not experiencing any issues. I noticed that version 1.7 is not in the System requirements sheet for 10.4.2

We are currently using TortoiseSvn even though OM has built in Subversion support. I only need it to build a new directory in my Suversion repository and initial check-in. Once that is done I can use OPM built in Subversion source control.

I noticed that a new feature of current versions of OPM is Zero-config subversion support.

Does that also mean we do not need to use TortoiseSVN?

Thanks
