Sub Tabs

Ok, I have tabs that is used throuout my application. However, due to the addition of 3 new modules to the app it would be cool If I could introduce a second level of tabs only on these pages while keeping the originals.
I have searched the forum on tabs / sub tabs and havent found any obviouse way of doing this.
Basicaly I want to add tabs under a standard tab that is part of the main tab set going back to the parent tab.
Confusing? certainly is to me !
