Thank you for taking the time to read my question and take a look at my data.
I have a user, who just received a new HP PC, and I installed Windows 10. She has been using her laptop for about 2 weeks, when she goes to run SQL Developer, version was 4.2. As she opens the program, the SQL Developer Splash screen does not appear. A Blank window presents on the screen, with no identifiers, accept for a Symbol in the upper left corner. A few options are present, and seem to be aimed at screen settings. I find that the SQL Developer splash screen is hidden by the window and is stopped from completing the launch of the program.
I can not seem to find a program running, through task manager. I can not seem to find what program may be installed and controlling the start of SQL Developer. If I close the blank window, it closes SQL Developer. It seems I have run out of resources, as all of the associates I present this to, have never seen this window or symbol. The window does not have an "About", and really gives no clues about it origin.
If anyone has an idea, i would greatly appreciate the assistance. I do have Access to the PC, but very limited, as the user works from home, 1/2 time, and is very busy when in the office.
