Storing image to the database

I need help with storing a jpeg file to the database. I have a form with two text fields and a picturebox. I also have two buttons. One to upload the image from the filesystem to the picture box using OpenFileDialog and the other button to save the data back to the database. So far, everything works fine but my only problem is how to save everything back to the database. I can save data from the textfields but not the image in the picturebox. Can someone please show me how to save images to the database. I am using Oracle 11g and the photo field is defined as BLOB. Step by Step illustration with VB.NET code will be greatly appreciated. I am still a newbie in .NET
