i install Solaris 10 whit  2.4_sw_solaris-i386 on vmware (ESX 5.1 )

the sun connected to ibm brocade  'form the brocade  to esx

i install 2.4_sw_solaris-sparc.zip

Installation done with this guide

# /tmp/solaris/sparc> pkgadd -d . SUNWsscs

-- output --

## Executing postinstall script.

Using uid 60000 for username ssmon.

Using uid 59999 for username ssadmin.

Using uid 59998 for username ssconfig.

Be sure to set the passwords for all SSCS users(ssmon, ssadmin, ssconfig).

Before starting the Console, please run

/opt/SUNWsscs/sscsconsole/config_sscon to specify the web browser

to use for accessing online help.

The Sun StorEdge Configuration Service agent and Sun StorEdge Diagnostic

Reporter daemon have been installed, but are not configured to start at boot

time by default.

To enable the Sun StorEdge Configuration Service agent to start automatically

when the system boots, and to start it now, type:

/etc/init.d/ssagent enable start

To enable the Sun StorEdge Diagnostic Reporter to start automatically when the

system boots, and to start it now, type:

/etc/init.d/ssdgrptd enable start

Refer to the Sun StorEdge 3000 Family Software Installation Guide for more

  1. information.

Installation of  was successful.

So far I have been using only StorEdge Command-Line Interface (CLI).

Below are some most used commands ("show ones") and for now I will not write more about this here.

# /opt/SUNWsscs/sbin> ./sccli

sccli: selected device /dev/rdsk/c2t40d0s2 [SUN StorEdge 3510 SN#09CACC]

sccli>

sccli> version

sccli version 2.4.0

When I type ./sccli I got an error

sccli: no manageable devices found

Thank you
