Stopping embedded WebLogic
744557Aug 25 2010 — edited Aug 25 2010Hello,
Using JDev 11.1.1.3 I'm getting different behavior when I stop the server from JDev on 2 different PC. The first PC is running under Windows 7 the other on Windows XP.
The log I get from Windows 7 shows:
[Server Instance IntegratedWebLogicServer is shutting down. All applications currently running will remain deployed.]
[Forcing termination of IntegratedWebLogicServer]
taskkill /F /PID 4264
Process exited.
On XP the log shows:
[Server Instance IntegratedWebLogicServer is shutting down. All applications currently running will be terminated and undeployed.]
[sending request to shutdown server...]

WLST lost connection to the WebLogic Server that you were
connected to, this may happen if the server was shutdown or
partitioned. You will have to re-connect to the server once the
server is available.

On my Windows 7 PC the server will stop much more quicly than on XP because the apps are not undeployed. It looks like JDev is running 2 different script to stop the server. How do I change the configuration so that my XP machine behave like the Windows 7 one.
