stop the patch

Hi,
I am applaying a patch. It does not progress with this message :
ATTENTION: All workers either have failed or are waiting:

FAILED: file b5018206.sql on worker 1.

ATTENTION: Please fix the above failed worker(s) so the manager can continue.

and I have no answer from SR that I have open with severity 1. can I stop the patch by stopping all workers in adctrl ?
