Stats deletion

We collect stats daily for a particular schema due to that SYSAUX size has been increasing very rapidly. Now i want to delete old or obsolete stats to reclaim some space in SYSAUX tablespace. How to find which stats need to be deleted or which one is not being used by CBO.
