Statistics Time for a table

Hi Experts ..

Sorry to ask this crazy question... but hoping some one will answer my question.

Currently we are running Oracle 11.2.0.3 on Solaris 5.10 Sparc

We enabled 11g automated stats, running by SYS. I would like to see ... can we find out the time taken to gather statistics for a table from any of the tables/views [ no custom tables ]. Beyond that can we find out from any other way ...

This will help me to figure out some issues in our application and DB.
