StartUpServletContextListener Problem

Whenever i am running tomcat through eclipse i am getting the following error:
SEVERE: Error configuring application listener of class org.apache.myfaces.webapp.StartupServletContextListener
java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: javax/servlet/ServletContextListener

I have the myfaces-api and my-faces impl.jar in my classpath? I searched the forum but to no avail. Plz help..
