Starting databases after server reboot

gbiteFeb 14 2014 — edited Feb 14 2014

Hi,

The oratab file used to be where you specify if a database should be started or not after the server reboot.

With the advent of Grid infrastructure, all services tend to be restarted automatically.

I am looking at database using ASM and while 2 of the database are restarted after reboot all others - 4 have to be manually started.

Where could this be stored?.......the oratab has got N against all the databases

Thanks
