Standby redo logs

Hi all,

For dataguard setup, the docs said to create standby redo logs at the standby server.

It did not mention to create standby redo logs at the primary server.

So what happens if I switch-over to the standby?

Then my primary db will now becomes the standby db. But it does not have standby redo logs?

Kindly shed lights...
