standby_archive_dest parameter for DG

Hi,
Here's my situation. When I first configured standby database, I have never set STANDBY_ARCHIVE_DEST parameter. After data guard is successfully configured, I saw it changed to '+RECOVERY/stdbyCity/'. After I failover to stdby and need to rebuild old primary database as physcial standby, do I need to set this parameter to something like '+RECOVERY/primaryCity/'?
